Baroque churches are alternated with modern architecture, and everybody gets their money’s worth.

About Innsbruck

Innsbruck – Tyrol’s wealth of culture and history looks back on an 800 year-long eventful past. The most famous building and the town’s landmark is the so called Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof), a feast for the eyes with its late Gothic alcove balcony and fire-gilded copper tiles.

In both the summer and winter, Innsbruck is the perfect place for holidays. There are countless beautiful locations waiting to be discovered when exploring the sundry landscape. To name just a few of the highlights, the majestic mountains reaching up to 2000 m, Alpine swimming lakes, hiking trails with panoramic views and the Bergisel with the Sillschlucht, the scene of the Vierschanzentournee and a much-loved local recreational area.

Innsbruck loves a great dining experience. Would you prefer to try something typically Austrian or choose from a menu offering a selection of exotic meals from faraway lands? No matter what you prefer, you‘ll find it. Tyrol’s cosmopolitan city knows how to pamper its guests.
